When our self-esteem is good we feel we can handle anything,we value and honour ourselves.We need to constantly choose our thoughts and our words.Positive thought patterns will attract positive energies.The best gift we can give ourselves in our lifetime is to recognise our own inherent value.When we develop an awareness of our own Self Worth,we will be able to live a more balanced and healthy lifestyle.Self love and Self respect are essential for a healthy mind.The latin phrase “mens sana in corpore sano” is translated as a healthy mind in a healthy body.We need to learn to programme our minds for health and wellness to help us achieve our life goals.If we turn to comfort food as a source of consolation ,we need to instead find comfort and reassurance in self- care and by nourishing our bodies and our friendships.

Take a piece of paper and start writing down all your positive points and all the good things you have going for you such as friends,your intelligence,a place to sleep etc.You will see that you have more positives than you thought you had!
